Campus Partnerships

The Bonner Office of Civic Engagement works to encourage members of the Spelman College community to become active citizens and agents of change through community service. To cultivate a community of belonging and wellbeing, students are supported and empowered to make a difference in their communities – at home, on Spelman’s campus, and beyond the campus gates into the Westside community. 

The Bonner Office is pleased to work with a variety of departments, programs, and initiatives across the Spelman College campus to expand student involvement.

Frequently Asked Questions

• I manage a program that I believe students should receive community service hours for. How do I make that happen?
  • Please submit a Campus Partner Service Event Form. Requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance of the event.
• How do I request the Bonner Community Service Van for my class/group to travel together to participate in a community service event?
  • Please submit a Transportation Request Form. Requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance of the event.

Please note that if you need to request service hours and use of the van, you can submit both requests on one form.
