The Federation is a non-profit cooperative association of black farmers, landowners, and cooperatives. Our mission is to be a catalyst for the development of self-supporting communities through cooperative economic development, land retention and advocacy. We are organized by state associations with field offices serving a primary membership base in the Southern States. We have worked to build cooperatively owned businesses and improve the lives of black farmers and landowners for more than 50 years.
